The Healthy Mind Foundation
The Healthy Mind Foundation was founded in 2008 by Dr Beris Konetschnik.
The purpose of the foundation is to support General Practitioners and Mental Health specialists by providing effective take home packages to help clients own and address their mental health concerns. Research suggest that client centred therapy along with between session client activities speeds the return to peak Mental Health.
The first project of the Foundation has been the development of a suite of seven Compact Disks that can assist Clients, General Practitioner, Health Practioners and Organisations working in the specialty area of Mental Health that can be used to help clients between therapy sessions or clients alone find a pathway to improved mental health.
Membership of the foundation is open to Health Professionals and offers access to a discounted range of Resources as well as access email and phone access to Dr Beris as well as early information about workshops and other activities.
Healthy Mind Consulting
Dr Beris is a medical doctor who specialises in Mental Health. She not only consults with patients, but has over the last 10 years been an educator with medical students and GPs in psychiatry, communication and counselling skills. She is well grounded, compassionate and practical in her approach to mental health. Her training has been in Solution Focused therapy, but she is eclectic when she deals with patients.
Healthy Mind Media
"In The Slow Lane" is a range of professional therapeutic CDs that can be used in conjuction with mental health therapy or as an alternative to therapy.
Dr Beris has put some of her most valued, practical wisdom onto CDs. These are some of the messages that her patients have most appreciated. So now you can access her words of encouragement and wisdom on these CDs wherever you are and whenever you choose.
Do you like the CD covers? Life's serious enough as it is – so start enjoying your experience right from the moment you pick up the CD.
You might also notice some wonderful violin music in some of the CDs. Thank you Beris' friend Peter Shurley for this amazing music.
